James averaged 15.5 points per game and hit all four of his free throws with under 27 seconds left in the championship game versus Long Beach State in the 2010 Big West Tournament, helping the Gauchos clinch their first trip to the 'Big Dance' since 2002... he will leave UC Santa Barbara as their career All Time Leader in 3pt made and in FT percentage... he will be the 16th best scorer in UCSB history and a two time Big West Conference Champion... his biggest strength is his shooting ability... he easily has range to the NBA 3-point line... he is also very good at shooting the pull up jumper off the dribble...being physically very strong, he is able to overpower smaller defenders, and also absorb contact on penetration... James can handle the ball very well and is able to play both guard positions... he played the point earlier in his career and handled the ball a lot at UCSB... played primarily the SG position at UCSB because he was such great shooter for them... very strong 1 vs 1 defender, uses his strength and ability to pressure to his advantage...
